BEREA MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH

We are an Independent Landmark Sovereign Grace Missionary Bible Believing Baptist Church.

We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and is without error as it was originally written.

We believe in the Genesis account of creation.

We believe that man is totally depraved and can be saved only by the grace of God.

We believe that repentance and faith are inseparable graces and that all who do not repent and believe are lost.

We believe in the security of the believer.

We believe that Jesus organized His church while here on earth and gave it the commission to preach the gospel to every creature.

We believe the church has two (2) ordinances: Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. We believe the Lord’s Supper is restricted to the local church, and the elements are unleavened bread and wine.

We believe the church is a local, visible, body of Christ and that each church has full authority from the Lord to carry on its work without the interference of any other church.

We believe that tithes and offerings are God’s method of supporting the church.

We believe that God is all wise and sovereign.

We believe He is sovereign in His foreknowledge, predestination, election, calling, justification, and glorification.

We also believe that whosoever will may come to the Lord and be saved, and God’s sovereign will is not contradicted in the Bible teachings on this subject.

We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus.

We believe in His premillennial second coming.

We believe that Heaven and Hell are real places and all mankind must spend eternity in one of them.

We believe that the Devil is a real person and is opposed to all truth.

We believe there will be two resurrections, one for the saved and one for the lost.
